Chimney Repairs

We carry out all chimney repairs, re-pointing the brickwork and re-bed the chimney pots.

It is really important to have the chimneys checked and repaired.  A small re-pointing job can stabilise the chimney and prevent any problems or bigger jobs, if they are left.  Chimneys take the brunt of the adverse weather conditions, and will, over time cause the mortar to crack and crumble.  If left unmaintained, the brickwork can become unstable and no-one wants a chimney to fall.  This would damage the roof and anything that may be underneath it, or at floor level.

After inspection, we clean the old mortar out of the brickwork and may remove any damaged bricks. we installed new bricks, where necessary and re-point the brickwork, which stabilizes the chimney and also re-bedded the chimney pot, if that is required.  A minor re-pointing job can prevent a much bigger and more expensive job if left unmaintained.  Call the professionals and let us take care of your chimney maintenance.
